Short experimental movies done in a variety of multi-media techniques.

These movies are in WMV format, so Windows Media Player or WMV capable player is necessary to view them. There are different versions depending upon your connection speed. Click to play, or right click to download. The quality of both the sound and video are vastly better with the larger files.

The Sparrow Dance

Stop-motion photography with an interval timer, of fledgeling sparrows using some decorative blocks for a landing pad. Animated and syncronized to an original Calfornia retro-rock styled piece of music.

A Strawberry Milkshake

A friend greatly enjoying his milkshake while carrying on conversation with other friends. This was shot with a digital still camera on "motor drive", with the frames processed with a pseudo-aquatint look.

A Veddy British Mystery

A stage with animated lighting, and sound clips for dialogue. No visible actors. Random clips edited into dialogue that almost works. Meant to be amusing.

A Veddy British Mystery

Seventeen frames rendered in Shade 3-D, each with a different light setting to simulate stage and theatre lights. Crossfades in Sony Movie Studio were used to animate the light. The Internet was searched for appropriate sound clips which were then edited together to make the dialogue track, and sound-effects were created and added where appropriate. Titles done in Paint Shop Pro.
